    Insert a Check box and a Radio button into Excel worksheet


    You can easily insert a check box and a Radio in your Excel worksheet. The check boxes and the Radio buttons are used to select some values from the list of optional values available. For example, you can use a check box to select any of the options such as ‘Yes’ ‘No’ or ‘May be’ and you can use the Radio buttons in a polling process if you want to vote for a specific person. Below is a tutorial that will guide you on how to insert a check box and a Radio button into an Excel Worksheet.


    To insert a Check box, do the following

    1) Firstly, you should add the ‘Developer’ tab in the ribbon.

    2) Now on the ‘Developer’ tab, in the ‘Controls’ category, click on the ‘Insert’ icon and under ‘Form Controls’ click on the ‘Check Box(Form Control) icon.

    3) Now click on a particular portion of the Worksheet, where you want to insert the Check box.

    4) Once you click on the worksheet, the check box will be inserted.

    5) You can rename the check box by clicking inside the checkbox.below is a snapshot of three check boxes insertd in the worksheet.

    To Insert a Radio Button, do the following

    1) Firstly, you should add the ‘Developer’ tab in the ribbon.

    2) Now on the ‘Developer’ tab, in the ‘Controls’ category, click on the ‘Insert’ icon and under ‘Form Controls’ click on the ‘Option Button (Form Control) icon.

    3) Now click on a particular portion of the Worksheet, where you want to insert the Check box.

    4) Once you click on the worksheet, the check box will be inserted.

    5) You can rename the check box by clicking inside the checkbox. below is a snapshot of three Radio buttons inserted in the worksheet.
