Import Bookmarks from an HTML file in Firefox


In the previous tutorial, we guided you on how to Export your Bookmarks to an HTML file so that, it could be imported into other browsers or can be saved as a backup file. In this tutorial, we guide you on how to Import Bookmarks those are stored in an HTML file into the Firefox Beta 4.0 browser.


1) Click on the Bookmarks tab and then click on Organize Bookmarks.

2) Now, in the Library window thus opened, click on Import and Backup tab and then select Import and then select Import HTML.

3) Now, in the Import wizard thus opened, select the Radio button that says From an HTML File and click on Next button.

4) Now, in the Import Bookmarks window thus opened, select the HTML file consisting of Bookmarks that you wish to import and the click on Open button.

5) To view the Bookmarks that you imported, in the Library window, click on Recently Bookmarked and you will find all the Bookmarks that you imported into the browser.
