Steps to enable and disable secure log on using CTRl+ALT+Delete button in windows 7

Introduction

In this tutorial we deal with the procure of dealing with disable and enable of secure log on using the button Ctrl+Alt+Delete in windows 7 before log on to the screen.

User has to make note that the additional security layer is provided and the logon screen appears and when the logon is enabled no other program will intercept the username and the password which is entered.

Advanced user account method

• In the first step user has to open the start menu.

Secure log on enable

• Here user has to check the requirement user and has to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete box.

Secure log on disable

• Here user has to uncheck the require users and has to press the button Ctrl+Alt+Delete box.

At last click ok.

Registry editor method

• User has to open start menu and in search box and has to type the command regedit in it and has to press enter.

• User has to click the option yes if it is prompted by UAC.

• In the next step user has to navigate the location given below in regedit.

User has to enable the option Disable CAD by right clicking on it and modify option has to be clicked.

• Here the user has to type 0 and ok button has to be clicked.

• Here the user has to type 1 and ok button has to be clicked.

User has to close regedit.

• In the first step user has to open the Local Security Policy editor.

• In the next step user has to expand local policies in the left pane and has to click on security options.

• User has to click on interactive logon in the right pane and user do not required Ctrl+ALT+DEL and properties option has to be clicked.
