How to Prevent Safari Browser from Executing Java Applets

Java script is used at host end in order to provide enhanced interface. By default, Java Applets will be enabled in your safari browser. If user wants them to execute automatically in your browser, they can disable them. In this tutorial we shall learn how to disable Java Applets in Safari browser.

Step 1:
Open your safari browser, click on Edit button in menu bar as shown in below image or click on Gear icon, located at right top end of your safari browser.



On clicking this option a drop-down menu appears on your screen, click on “Preferences…” option or just type “Cltr + ,” , which is a shortcut to open preferences window.




Step 2:
On clicking, another window will appear on your browser screen. Click on "Security" icon, as shown in below image.






Step 3:
In the above image you can notice “Web content” category, in that category you can find another tab labeled as Enable Java, which is checked. To disable this un-check this box, as shown in below image. After clearing this box close the window.
