To show or hide System icons:
Right-click the taskbar, and click Properties. The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties
dialog box opens.
In the Notification area pane, click Customize.
In the Customize Notifications dialog box, right-click an item in the presentation column
that you want to show or hide.
Click the arrow to select Hide when inactive, Always hide, or Always show.
Click OK to close the Customize Notifications dialog box.
Click Apply, and then click OK to close the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box.
