    Hello,
Quite a late answer, however, let me suggest you and all webmasters using VBulletin a solution against spam and many problems related. It is the new free Vbulletin plugin (there are versions for other systems too), called Sur.ly, that makes your forum non-sensitive to spam attacks. As you said, maleficent links posted on your site by spammers can provoke drop of your position in Google search, AdSense ban (if you use it), etc, so Sur.ly plugin replaces all potentially dangerous user-generated hyperlinks at your website with safe links to interstitial pages on Sur.ly. Owing to this your website has no direct reference to some maleficent resources, therefore its status remains fully legitimate for Google, AdSense and McAfee SiteAdvisor. There are more features that protect your visitors against malware, adult content, etc. You can find more information about this mod at its site, or you can ask me. Thanks
