    Default Graphics card error

    I just installed a new graphics card Sapphire HD 5670 512mb GDDR5. When I start up my computer it just gives me 10 beeps.

    Motherboard is pretty old Abit IL9 pro.

    Any idea what could be the problem ?

    Sounds like a bad graphics card. I assume it boots fine with the GPU out?

    When you say new, do you mean you purchased it new, or its new to you?

    Yes, it's new just bought it. And it boots fine with my old card.
