    Would the cooler master extreme 500w psu be enough for the GTX 460 SC? The minimum watts required is 450w. Help would be appreciated

    Yes 500watts is enough but make sure that 500Watts cooler master is 80 Plus certified.

    FYI, cooler master is making two types of PSU one is 80 Plus and one without 80 Plus.

    Without 80 Plus certified PSU, you will get maximum around 400 - 420 Watts and it will fry your card.
