    Default Help Regarding PS3 Jailbreak !

    My PS3 firmware is 3.55. So it's obviously ready to be jailbroken. I have these doubts :

    1) Can I follow the tutorials on youtube and jailbreak it with ANY NORMAL USB DRIVE ? Or is any special USB drive for jailbreak like true blue dongle.

    2) I've never tried it before so is it SAFE for me to do it by just depending on all the tutorials ?

    3) And is there any alternative for true blue dongle ?

    you need a actual dongle...something like this... i was always on 3.41 but i sold my ps3 like a year ago.. and i used the psjailbreak2 dongle which unfortunately is non-existant now

    but you can try this

    But for a simple jailbreak i can use ANY usb flash drive right ? The dongle is used actually for playing 3.6v games on 3.55 firmware right. What if i don't want to play those 3.6v games ?
