Thread: Sound Problem with Sony Vaio

I have Sony Vaio. I have installed Vista Home Premium. Earlier, sound was working nicely. But, suddenly don’t know what happened? Sounds stopped working. I have updated all the drivers. I have also checked in Device Manager. There it shows sound is working properly.

So, can anyone help me in this regards.

Make sure that whether the problem is related to software or hardware. And check whether Sony provides any preboot diagnostic boot cd or what? If no, then boot the operating system like knoppix.
