    Hello

    I am having a serious issue here with my laptop. I have a SONY Vaio VGN Series. It runs on windows Vista with a 2GB ram. Its been abut 4 - 5 years since I purchased it.

    Now often my laptop is crashing. To be more precise many applications including MS Office, Chrome, Windows Explorer often crash for no reason just as I open it. I have formatted my laptop thrice in 5 months with the built in recovery system by completely making an "Out of the box" format.

    I have also updated my windows up to date. Its all in vain... Please somebody assist. I am unable to use my laptop.

    Maybe it's overheating... Does it get very warm, even hot(!) when you are using it?
