I would say note 2 has all of it. I've used it before. Go for it.
For me its a easy decision, since I never really liked apple's way of file transfer and getting apps.

IPhone 5 lol... It has the IOS which is optimized for ever IPhone, its simple to use and apps don't lag. Don't know bout note 2 because I only tried Iphone(4 and 4s) and also Ipod touch 3rd gen which I love, current using iphone 4s and not barly any lag(tiny bit of lag on 1 app that I use but it goes away fast, the lag I mean) on apps as they are made for the Iphone. I don't know how google play store does it but I like IOS and apple app store the best and IOS maps is better than google maps or if you like google maps you can download it from the app store, same with youtube. Also IPhone gets better with jailbreak but I don't know when jailbreak for IPhone 5 will come out hopeful soon.

5S will be out soon, I still reckon the 5's screen is too narrow. With constant new models and declining market share, its disappointing.

Its just obvious to say no, there aren't even any perks that the 5's have that is worth mentioning, apart from stability and security (that's if you don't modify it).

If i were you I will go for Note 2 .(I like Android more than ios).
