Thread: How to remove Spyware Guard 2009?

Spyware Guard 2009 has installed on my computer automatically. The Security Center shows the message as “There is a problem with the security”. I have Windows Defender. I have tried to remove it but it is again and again comes.

Please help me.

You can remove this using a tool and also manually. If you want to remove using a tool then download the following software and run it. It will automatically removes your Spyware Guard 2009.

If you want to remove manually means follow the below instructions:

First stop the Spyware Guard 2009 processes. They are: SpywareGuard.exe, syscert.exe, spoolsystem.exe, reged.exe. Then search for the below given files and delete it.

%ProgramFiles%\Spyware Guard 2009\queue.vdb
%ProgramFiles%\Spyware Guard 2009\conf.cfg
%ProgramFiles%\Spyware Guard 2009\mbase.vdb
%ProgramFiles%\Spyware Guard 2009\spywareguard.exe

Then, go to Registry Editor using regedit command from Run window. Then remove the following registry value for Spyware Guard 2009:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run SpywareGuard2009
