Post How to give a password to a folder which I shared over LAN?

I have Windows XP Professional. I have shared folders over LAN on the server system. Now, I want to protect the folders by giving password using client system which is in the same LAN.

If your network is in workgroup then, go to Sharing and Security. Then add the computer name of the user or client which you want them to read, write or read/write to the shared folder.
