Post Unable to run Windows Update in Windows Vista

I have Windows Vista SP1 operating system. I am trying to run Windows Update but unable to run. I tried by going to Control Panel and clicking on Windows Update. When I click on Windows Update icon, it won’t open only. I have installed yahoo games and Office Live Meeting 07 after the last update.
