This column will enable you to retain the user accounts, data, programs and system drivers by doing a Repair Install to fix the already installed Windows 7. Please remember when to do a Repair Install:
When your Windows 7 is not fixed by the System Restore.

When you can’t seek help from any other option for the repair.

When you don’t wish to perform a Clean Reinstall.

Code:
•	After starting the Windows 7, just log on to the Administrator account.

•	Please get rid of the third party firewall, anti-virus, or other security program by Disabling them as they can be obstacles for your repair installation.

•	Put the DVD of Windows 7 installation into the DVD drive.

•	Now click Run Setup.exe which you will find in the AutoPlay window.

•	For starting the installation, click the button – Install Now.

•	Now uncheck the box - I want to help make Windows installation better.

•	Click the option - Go online to get the latest updates for installation.

•	Now you will find the Windows 7 checking and installing any installation available, on line.

•	Now check the box – I accept the license terms.

•	Click Next.

•	Click the option – Upgrade.

•	Windows7 Beta installation begins now. This could restart your computer for a few moments, remember this.

•	After the last restart you will view the screen.

•	Now type Product key number in the Windows 7.

•	Now please uncheck the box - Automatically activate Windows when I'm online.

•	Click Next.

•	Now click Use recommended settings.

•	Select time zone.

•	Set time and date.

•	Now click Next.

•	Click the option for the correct location for the network location of your computer.

•	Now Windows 7 will make your desktop to startup.

•	If you like to view whether you have missed any user files, just check it. In case they are lost, no worry, just copy them from the folders - C:\$INPLACE.~TR and C:\WINDOWS.~Q.

•	 Now start running the Disk Cleanup. To do this, click the button – Cleanup system files. And then check the box - Files discarded by Windows upgrade.

•	Refresh Windows Experience Index.

•	Now kindly activate Windows 7.
