Thread: How to recover the images from the hard drive?

I have HP laptop with Windows Vista operating system. I am getting some problem with laptop. So I have to restore the factory settings. But I have some pictures on it. Once the system restore is done, can I get them back?

Remove the hard drive from laptop and insert either a USB enclosure or an adapter to slave the drive on system. But remember, do not use it as boot drive because writing will take place and there may be a chance of losing data. Once it is in enclosure or slaved, you can get your files or data which have not been written over. Use the any one software to recover the files.
