Smartphone Application Usage is Infrequent

A Pinch media shows that the number of people who actually use the downloaded applications of the smatrphone is very limited. The study shows that this number is as low as 5% of the total people who download the update applications from the smartphone websites.



The number of people who actually download the application upgrades is also considerably low at only 30 % of total number of users. The sole reason for such low chunk of population is the high costs of the gadgets and the added surcharge on the downloading of the applications.

Another research by ABI shows that out of 235 smartphones who installed applications on their smartphones in the month of November only 4% have been able to use the applications extensively. Most of the users don’t even use the application in the month of the download.
