Thread: Creating log off computer shortcut in vista

1. Right click the empty space on the desktop.

2. Click the option – NEW. Click SHORTCUT.

3. Now inside the location area, type shortcut.exe –L.

4. Click NEXT.

5. Now for the name, type Log Off or whatever you please.

6. Click FINISH.

7. Now that the new logoff shortcut is ready, right click on it. Click PROPERTIES.

8. Click the button – CHANGE ICON.

9. In the pop-up window, click OK.

10. Click the icon (key shape) which is shown in blue.

11. Click OK.

12. Click OK for application.

13. You can either MOVE or COPY the new logoff shortcut wherever you feel comfortable to use it again.
