1. Go to START MENU.

2. In the empty search box, type mrt.exe.

3. Press ENTER. (You will see the file located at the C:\Windows\System32\mrt.exe.)

4. Click CONTINUE in UAC PROMPT.

5. Click NEXT.

6. Choose the kind of scan you wish running.

7. Click NEXT.

8. Now begins the scanning. It will surely take time depending upon your selection of scan type.

9. After completing the scan, it will provide you the report.

10. If you like to close the window – MALICIOUS SOFTWARE REMOVAL TOOL, just click FINISH. You can also click the option – VIEW DETAILED RESULTS OF THE SCAN for viewing the full results.
