1. Go to START MENU.


2. In the START SEARCH box, type regedit.


3. Now press ENTER.


4. In the UAC prompt, click CONTINUE.


5. In regedit proceed as – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, click SYSTEM, now click CurrentControlSet and click Control.


6. Now right click the option – WaitToKillServiceTimeout.


7. Click MODIFY.

8. Type a number between 2000 – 20000 (2 – 20 seconds). Click OK. The experience may differ with different numbers typed by you.
