Thread: Never say die spirit of Shetty

Shetty is the name for spirit and enthusiasm. He himself stands as an example of extreme optimism. Because, he is suffering from the spinal cord injury since a large stone collided on him and broke his T7 vertebra. The 37 years old Jayaram Shetty, supervisor in a construction company has been on the death bed since September 1992. Now, Jayaram who lives in his lineage home in Udupi, has no financial supporter. As his father died recently. His brothers too are not in contact with him.

Jayaram is now in need of a lifelong care from his old mother and a sister.
What is so special about this man we are discussing? Well, it is quite clear from the statement of Jayaram who says that he is waiting for some angel to hail from the heaven and support him financially. Because, Jayaram needs at least Rs. 10, 00,000 for his lifelong care. But there is no frowning on his face and eyes full of hopes for the better tomorrow. He wants to live as life is still beautiful. Really, the story of this back broken middle aged man is pathetic on one hand but a booster of spirit and positive attitude along with ‘beautiful dreams, holy dreams’ as told by Jayaram.
