    Post How to create the groups using dsadd command?

    I have OU called Security Groups. There is one more OU inside this, called Departments. If I use the dsadd group command to create the new group in the Security Groups OU, it will work fine. If I try to create the new group in the Departments OU, I am unable to get it to work. What to do?

    Use the below command:

    dsadd group “cn=<Give the group name>, ou=Departments, ou=Security Groups, dc=domain, dc=local”
