This is a type of making B&W Photo to Color Photo

Take a black and white photo as the reference make some correction if needed of scratches brightness contrast and so on.


On that layer create a hue/saturation layer as in the fig..
Layer  New Adjustment Layer  Hue/saturation…..


An option box appears put the name which layer u want to edit first e.g.; skin. select the reference color and press ok.
Now tick the colorize option box and adjust the Hue Saturation Lightness the amount you want


Now take the brush adjust the thickness of brush and paint
the portion where u don’t want the effect.



Here white will act as color poorer and black as eraser.

U can use arrow key to inter change the selection

Even u can double click on layer and adjust the hue/saturation/lightness anytime.


Now Similarly create as many layers u want of same procedure for cloth, Background, ornaments, eyes, lips, hair etc..

U Can use enable and disable icon of layers to view the changes as I have done.
