To change Ribbons Screen Saver settings follow these simple steps:
1) Open Start menu and type regedit in the search box and press Enter key

2) In the Registry Editor window thus opened, click to expand the folder
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt Version\Screensavers\Ribbons given in the left pane

3) Now right click on an empty area in the right pane and select New and then DWORD (32-bit) Value option as shown above
4) Choose the name of the DWORD from the following list and name the DWORD accordingly:
• Blur – It can hold value 0 or 1. It helps in deciding whether to enable or disable ribbon fade away effect
• Numribbons – It can hold value between 1 and 100. This helps in deciding the number of ribbons to appear on the screen
• RibbonWidth – It can hold value between 1000000000 and 1080000000. This value decides the width of the ribbons. Higher the value thicker will be the ribbons
5) Now right click on the named DWORD and select Modify…

6) In the Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value dialog box click the Decimal dot and type the desired value in the Value data and click OK button

7) If you want to set more properties then repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.
8) Close Registry Editor window
