How to Add or Remove Search Providers from Search Box in Internet Explorer in Windows 7?

You can choose from a number of search providers such as AOL, Windows Live, Google, Sify and so on and add them to the Search box in Internet Explorer.
To add or remove Search Providers from Search Box in Internet Explorer in Windows 7 follow these simple steps:
1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools and then Internet Options

2) In the Internet Options window click Settings button under Search section under General tab

3) To add a Search Provider follow these steps:
a) In Change Search Defaults dialog box click on Find more providers link given at the bottom to add or link more search providers

b) You will now notice that a web page opens up in the Internet Explorer showing you the list of Web Search providers. Click on any link as per your convenience. For eg. Click on Google

c) A confirmation dialog box opens up and asks you to add the Search Provider. Click Add Provider button

d) You will now notice that Google will now be added to the list of Search providers in Change Search Defaults dialog window. Click OK button

To remove a Search Provider follow these steps:
a) Click the Search Provider in the Change Search Defaults dialog box and click Remove button.

b) Click OK button
OR
To make a Search Provider default follows these steps:
c) Click the Search Provider in the Change Search Defaults dialog box and click Set Default button.

d) Click OK button
4) Finally click OK button in the Internet Options Window.
