How to change Windows Update Driver settings in Windows 7?

You can change Windows Update Driver settings in the following way:

1) Right click on the Computer icon on your Desktop and choose Properties option.

2) In the System window click on Advanced system settings in the left pane as highlighted below

3) In the System Properties window select Hardware tab and click on Windows Update Driver Settings button as highlighted below

4) In the Windows Update Driver Settings dialog box select one of the following dots as per your convenience:

• Check for drivers automatically (Recommended)

• Ask me each time I connect a new device before checking for drivers

• Never check for drivers when I connect a device

5) Click OK button

6) Click OK on System Properties window

7) Close System window
