Post How to test the speed of the CD-ROM drive in Windows 2003 Server?

I am running Windows 2003 Server on Dell PowerEdge 2950. I can boot the CD from CD-ROM, but it is booting very slowly. Is there any tool to test the speed of the CD-ROM drive?

Yes. There is a tool to test the speed of the CD-ROM drive. The tool is Nero DriveSpeed. It can be downloaded from the below site and it is a freeware:

Download Nero DriveSpeed 3.00 - A utility to set the reading speed of a CD-ROM drive - Softpedia
