How to show or hide mouse pointer trails when mouse pointer moves in Windows 7?

Mouse pointer trails are used to enhance the visibility of mouse pointer. By enabling this you will be able to see a trail of images same as mouse pointer's appearance when the mouse will move on the screen.

To show or hide mouse pointer trails when it moves in Windows 7 follow these simple steps:

1) Open Start menu and click on Control Panel button

2) In the Control Panel window double click Mouse icon

3) In the Mouse Properties select the Pointer Options tab.

4) Here check the option Display pointer trails to show the mouse pointer trails as highlighted above.

OR

Uncheck the option Display pointer trails to hide the mouse pointer trails.

7) You can slide the slider forward or backward to increase or decrease the trail length respectively as highlighted in the Figure 3

8) Click Apply and then OK button

9) Close Control Panel
