How to open and use Troubleshooting in Windows 7?

Troubleshooting in Windows 7 is quite improved and easy to use. It is one of the comprehensive tools provided by Windows for the purpose of maintenance of the system.

To open and use Troubleshooting in Windows 7 follow these simple steps:

1) Open Control Panel (All items view) and double click on Troubleshooting icon

2) In the Troubleshooting window thus opened, you can notice the sections like Programs, Hardware and Sound, Network and Internet, Appearance and Personalization and System and Security.

3) All these sections in turn contain several subsections as highlighted above.

4) Now to troubleshoot the section or sub section of your choice click on its link. For eg. let us troubleshoot the section Hardware and Sound. So click the link Hardware and Sound

5) You will then see a window with troubleshooting links for various areas like Sound, Device, Network and so on.

6) Let us troubleshoot Playing Audio. So click on the link Playing Audio as highlighted above.

7) A Playing Audio window opens. Click Next button here.

8) You will notice that the Window will check for the problem and will display this window:

9) Now choose from the two options Speakers or Headphones as per your convenience and click Next button

10) You will be asked to plug in speaker or headphone if it is not plugged in and click Next button

11) Windows will again detect for problems as shown below.

12) Finally the trouble shooter will show you the problem and remedy for it.

13) Choose Explore additional options or Close the troubleshooter as per your convenience.

Similarly you can troubleshoot any problem in your PC.
