How to change IPsec settings in Windows Firewall in Windows 7?

To change IPsec settings in Windows Firewall follow these simple step:

1) Click Start menu button. Now type Windows Firewall with Advanced Security in the search box and press Enter key.

2) In the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security window click the link Windows Firewall Properties.

3) In the advanced security dialog box select the tab IPsec Settings and click on Customize… button

4) Now you can change the Key exchange, Data protection and Authentication method settings.

5) If you choose Advanced dot say for Key exchange then click Customize button as highlighted above

6) In the customization window you can add Security methods by clicking Add button, set the Key lifetime and set Key exchange options

7) Click OK button

8) Click OK button in the window of Figure 4

9) Click Apply and then OK button in the window of Figure 3
