Thread: Error message when running the Adprep /rodcprep command in Windows Server 2008

I am running Windows Server 2008 Domain Controller. I am trying to run a “adprep /rodcprep” command, but I am getting the error message. The error message is “Adprep could not contact a replica for partition DC=DomainDnsZones, DC=Contoso, DC=com”. What to do now? How to fix this error?
