How to remove or restore Internet Explorer from Default Programs in Windows Vista?

To accomplish this follow these steps:

1) Open Control Panel (Classic View)

1) Open the Default Programs

2) In the Default Programs window click the option Set program access and computer defaults

3) Click the Custom option.

4) Check the Enable access to this program option corresponding to Internet Explorer to restore it to the Default Programs

OR

Uncheck the Enable access to this program option to remove it from the Default Programs

5) Click OK button
