Post Active Directory replication is taking more time when migrating to Windows SBS 2008

I am migrating from Windows SBS 2003 to Windows SBS 2008. When migrating, Active Directory replication is taking more time. Why it is taking more time? Is anyone faced the problem which I am facing?
