Thread: Cannot access the share on workgroup-based Vista from the domain-based vista

I have workgroup-based Windows Vista on laptop and domain-based Windows Vista on desktop computer. I am trying to access the shares on workgroup-based Vista from the domain-based vista, but I am unable to access it. It gives the error as “Windows cannot access”. The username and password in the domain is same as in the workgroup laptop. I can access the administrative shares on the domain-based computer from the laptop, but it doesn’t I cannot access on the workgroup-based laptop from domain-based system. How can I fix this issue? Please help me.
