How to open and use Local Security Policy Editor in Windows Vista?
Local Security Policy Editor is used to customize various security policies such as account policies, local policies, Firewall, IP security and so on.
You can accomplish this in the following manner:
1) Open Control Panel (Classic View)

2) Double click the Administrative Tools icon as highlighted above
3) Double click the Local Security Policy option

4) Local Security Policy Editor now opens:

5) You can now expand the desired Security Settings in the left pane and choose from the sub settings in the right pane

6) To configure a setting simply double click it.
7) You will now see a window to configure the setting. Now configure it as per your convenience

8) Click Apply and then OK button
Note: Some settings might need the system to restart.
