    OR

If you have multiple OS installed then first select the OS to be loaded and then press F8 key

    3) You will now see the following options:

Repair your computer – This option is only available if you have a OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Computer that had the pre-installed Vista. It might happen that the OEM computer also does not contain it. This can be referred with the OEM website or manual.

Safe Mode – This will load Vista with minimum basic services and drives

Safe Mode with Networking - This will load Vista with network drivers and services used to access the Internet or network

Safe Mode with Command Prompt - This will load Vista with Command Prompt window and not the traditional Vista logon screen.

Enable Boot Logging - This will load Vista and create a file called ntbtlog.txt which contains the list of drivers installed at the time of startup

Enable Low Resolution Video (640 X 480) - This will load Vista with video driver with low resolution settings

Last Know Good Configuration (advanced) - This will load Vista with the last registry and driver configurations that worked correctly

Debugging Mode - This will load Vista in the advanced troubleshooting mode which is meant mainly for System Administrators and other IT professionals

Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure – This prevents Vista from restarting again and again in case of an error or a virus outbreak

    Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
    – This will enable installation of drivers with improper signatures.

Start Windows Normally – This will start Vista with the normal traditional Vista logon screen

    4) Navigate to these options using arrow keys and press Enter to select any one.
