How to Force Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock keys behaviour in Windows Vista?

You must have seen that when you log on to your system then Vista automatically turns on either Num Lock, Caps Lock or Scroll Lock keys even if you had turned them off at the time of last shut down

You can force their behaviour in the following manner:

1) Open Registry Editor

2) Navigate to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard in the left pane if you want to change the behaviour for the currently logged on user
