How to Delete Run dialog box history or Most Recently Used (MRU) List in Windows Vista?



Run dialog box history or Most Recently Used (MRU) List:

You can accomplish this in the following manner:

1) Open Registry Editor and navigate to the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\RunMRU in the left pane

2) In the right pane you will notice the MRU list items named as a, b, c… as highlighted in the above figure

3) To remove a desired list item simply right click it and choose Delete option

4) Click Yes button to confirm

5) Close Registry Editor
