How to add Quick Launch location option to the Send To context menu in Windows Vista?


Send To menu with Quick Launch location option:

With the help of a simple trick you can add Quick Launch location option to the Send To menu. This will make it easier for you to add items to Quick Launch using Send To menu.

You can accomplish this in the following manner:

1) Open Start menu and type or copy C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windo ws\SendTo in the search box and press Enter key

Note: Replace user_name with user name you are logged on with on your system in the above location

2) Now simply create shortcut of the Quick Launch folder here. The Quick Launch Folder has the location C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Inter net Explorer\Quick Launch.

Note:

• Replace user_name with user name you are logged on with on your system in the above location

• You can know the exact location of your Quick Launch folder by right clicking on the Quick Launch area on the Taskbar and choosing Open Folder option

3) Now you can change icon of the Quick Launch shortcut in the Send To folder and you will get the Send To menu as shown in the Figure 1
