Default Lock Computer Automatically after Logging in

How to Lock Computer automatically after logging in Windows Vista?

This setting can be used to lock the computer after logging in. This can be helpful if you are not around and your computer needs to be restarted after installing a software and you have scheduled some tasks to run.

Note: To take the benefit of this service you must first enable automatic logon to your system because the system can be locked only after logging to your system. To know how to logon automatically to your system click the link Enable Automatic logon at startup.

You can lock your computer automatically after logging in to your system follow these steps:

1) Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder C:\Windows\System32

5) You can restart your PC to view the changes made.

Note: This setting will actually open the Switch User window.
