Post Keyboard letters are replacing with numbers

I have Compaq Presario C700 laptop. I have attached a USB keyboard and it worked fine. Then, I unplugged the USB keyboard, and in my laptop, when I press the letters i.e. A, B, C, and so on, it prints 1, 2, 3, and so on. So, I am unable to write anything on the laptop. How to fix this issue? Help me. Please.

I think your laptop is switched to the USB keyboard’s driver. Try to unplug the USB Keyboard and do the reboot without plugging USB keyboard. If still problem persists, then try by turning off the Num Lock for both the keyboards.
