Fix “Unable to Change Desktop Background Wallpaper” problem
How to fix Unable to Change Desktop Background Wallpaper problem in Windows Vista? It may happen that when you try to change the Desktop Background Wallpaper through Desktop Background properties, you are unable to set the desired wallpaper even if you are able to select the desired wallpaper. You can fix this problem in the following way: 1) Download the file FixWallpaper.zip given at the bottom of the post under the Attached files section 2) Save it to a desired location 3) Open the file FixWallpaper.zip and double click the FixWallpaper.reg file Figure 1 4) Click Continue button if prompted by UAC 5) Click Yes button to confirm Figure 2 6) Click OK when the process is successful |
