How to fix Unable to Add Links to the Favorites Folder after moving it to another location problem in Windows Vista?
If you have moved the Favorites Folder to the other location then it may be possible that you are unable to add a link to it and may encounter the error Unspecified error as shown in the error dialog box below.

To fix this problem follow these steps:
1) Open Start menu and type shell:favorites in the search box and press Enter key

2) Now copy the full path of the Favorites folder from the Address bar

3) Open Elevated Command Prompt and type icacls <favorites_folder_path> /setintegritylevel (OI)(CI)low and press Enter key
Note: Replace favorites_folder_path with the path of the Favorites folder copied in the step 2

4) You will get the a successful message as highlighted in the figure above
5) You can now verify if the Integrity level for the Favorites folder is set correctly by running the command icacls favorites
6) You will receive the message Mandatory Label\Low Mandatory LevelOI)(CI)(NW)
7) Close the Elevated Command Prompt
