How to Underline Keyboard Shortcuts in Windows Explorer in Windows Vista?
Underlining Keyboard Shortcuts helps you in determining the shortcut key for a given menu in Windows Explorer. Once the key letter is underlined then you can know the shortcut key for it and press ALT+Key to open that item. Thus you can make your work faster.

You can underline Keyboard Shortcuts by choosing one of the following options:
Option 1: Temporary underlining of the Keyboard Shortcuts
Open Windows Explorer and press ALT key. You will notice that the menu items’ shortcut letter is underlined as shown in Figure 1.
Option 2: Permanent underlining of the Keyboard Shortcuts
This setting will keep the Keyboard Shortcuts underlined until you turn off this feature.
1) Open Control Panel (Classic View) and double click the Ease of Access Center icon

2) Click the link Make the keyboard easier to use in the Ease of Access Center window

3) Now check the option Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys
