Thread: Desktop icons disappear frequently

The icons from the Desktop, frequently disappears. I can get those icons by click on the Show Desktop on the Taskbar. After few seconds, again the icons will disappear. Don’t know what happened. Can anyone tell me the fix for this issue?

I think your user account is corrupted. Create a new user account using User Accounts from the Control Panel. Then, login with the new user account. Then copy all your data from the C:\Users\<old user account>\ to your new user account. Then, delete the old user account.
