Post Cannot copy the folder to another location

I have single partition i.e. C:\ drive. In that, I have one folder called Drivers. It contains some setup files. I am trying to move it to the another location, CD, or USB Flash disk, but unable to move it. I am the administrator of the computer and I have full access to the folder. When I try to move, UAC prompts for permission. When I click on Continue, it gives the error message as “You need permission to perform this action”. Can anyone know how to fix this problem? Please.

I think you are not the owner of that folder or file. First take the ownership and then try to move. To take the ownership, right click on the folder or file and then select Properties. Then, click on Security tab and click on Advanced button. Then, click on Owner tab and click on Edit button. Then, select your username and click on Apply button. It will display the Windows Security dialog box. Just click on OK and again click on OK and close the Properties window.

Now, you should be able to move the file or folder.
