Thread: IE 7 crashes when closing the window

Whenever I try to close the Internet Explorer 7 after browsing, it gives the message box as “Internet Explorer has stopped working”. Again I have to click on Close Program button. Can anyone know about this?

I am using 32-bit Windows Vista Ultimate edition OS.

Check whether you have any add-ons installed for IE. If yes, then try to disable the add-ons and check whether problem has been fixed or not. If add-ons are not installed, then check for the programs which you have installed recently and check whether any plug-ins are installed for IE while installing the program. May be, those plug-ins are causing your IE to work properly.
