How to Configure Mouse Wheel Vertical Scrolling and Horizontal Scrolling settings in Windows Vista? This tutorial will help you in setting how many lines to scroll at a time vertically (vertical scrolling) and how many characters to scroll at a time horizontally (horizontal scrolling). You can set Vertical Scrolling and Horizontal Scrolling settings in the following way: 1) Open Control Panel (Classic View) and double click the Mouse icon Figure 1 2) Now select the Wheel tab Figure 2 3) You can now change the number of lines to scroll at a time vertically by typing the desired value in the textbox under Vertical Scrolling section. 4) If you want to scroll down one screen at a time then select the dot One screen at a time Figure 3 5) You can also change the number of characters to scroll at a time horizontally by typing the desired value in the textbox under Horizontal Scrolling section 6) Click Apply and then OK button |
