How to Manually Delete Temporary Files and Folders in Windows Vista?
The temporary files and folders are stored in Temp folder. You can delete the Temporary Files and Folders to gain space and make Vista faster.
Note: To automatically delete the Temp folder use Disk Cleanup facility
You can accomplish this in the following manner:
1) Open Start menu and type %temp% in the search space and press Enter key

2) You will now see the Temp folder window full of temporary files and folders.

3) You can now delete any file or folder of your choice or completely clear the Temp folder.
Note: If you delete the Low folder then you might be prevented from printing data from Internet Explorer 7 (IE7). To fix this issue, simply close all the IE7 windows and reopen it. This will automatically create the Low folder in the Temp folder.
5) You might also get a File in Use dialog box. This happens if a temporary file is currently being used by Vista or other program. Simply press Skip button. Then when your work is finished, close all the programs and repeat the step 3
